It combines food and water bowls, litter box enclosure and lounge top all in one luxurious piece of furniture. The Cat Quarters can provide personal space for a cat in a spacious family room or conserve space in a small apartment. It can be placed in front of a sunny window or in a secluded spot. The Inspired Pet Designs Cat Quarters is Made in the USA guaranteeing quality craftsmanship, materials, and manufacturing standards. The Cat Quarters is constructed in a wood alternative, which is highly durable and resistant to moisture and odors. The Cat Quarters has been designed for cats, but is made with the same quality as ?human-grade? furniture. The top of the unit opens to provide access to the litter box enclosure with heavy-duty hinges and the litter box is set within a frame to limit movement and spills. Heavy weight stainless steel bowls are also set within frames and are removable for ease of cleaning. The lounge top cat bed is made from high-density foam covered in Sunbrella fabric, which also resists moisture, dirt, stains, and odors. The fabric can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth and fur can be removed with a lint roller or hand vacuum if needed. Replacement tops can be purchased if the need should ever arise and are very easily installed. The Inspired Pet Designs Cat Quarters comes to you fully assembled. The all-inclusive Cat Quarters comes with a PetMate Litter Box, heavyweight Stainless Steel Bowls, and furniture levelers on the base of the unit. The levelers can be used to compensate for uneven flooring. Castors are an available option for ease of movement of the unit. The nearly airtight construction, due to our unique flapper door, not only hides the unsightly mess and stops the tracking of litter, it also traps any unpleasant odor. The bottom of the Kabinet is lined with extremely durable plastic laminate to allow for easy clean up of tracking or accidents outside the litter box. The Kitty Kabinet is a functional space saving unit that is ideal for condo or apartment living where space is at a premium. The base unit measures 32 5/8" Wide x 28 1/16" High x 17 1/2" Deep. It weights about 60 pounds. It has a very predominate open grain pattern. The more porous areas of grain take stain darker than the surrounding wood, accentuating the grain pattern. Oak is a good choice when you want a bold grain pattern. It is often used in "Traditional" style settings. Maple is also a very hard, durable wood. Unlike Oak, it as a very non-porous, closed grain wood. It takes stain evenly, with minimal grain showing. Maple is a good choice when you want a more uniform color and smooth finish. In its natural color, it is often chosen for more "Contemporary" settings. Pine is softer and will contain solid knots. The knots are left in the furniture to replicate an "antique" effect. The knots typically stain darker than the surrounding wood. Pine looks nice in more "Country" style settings, or where you want the contrast in colors between the wood and its knots.
